Fellowship with the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Physicians®

The ABQAURP Difference
The American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Physicians® (ABQAURP) has been spearheading the health care quality movement for over 44 years. ABQAURP strives to continually offer the best continuing education possible through live conferences and online courses. Despite not being a nationally mandated certification in the health care field, ABQAURP has grown to be a premier professional association providing Health Care Quality and Management (HCQM) Certification, ACCME-accredited continuing medical education, and membership to health care professionals worldwide. This is a testament to the dedication and drive of ABQAURP's members to the advancement of health care quality and safety.

Any member that has held Diplomate Status for five consecutive years after completing the HCQM Certification Exam will automatically be recognized as a Fellow of ABQAURP. Fellows may use the designation of FABQAURP in addition to their CHCQM designation to distinguish themselves among their peers.

To qualify for Fellowship, Diplomates must be current on their Annual Fees (due by January 1st each year) and Recertification requirements (8 hours of CME/CE every two years). Diplomate records are evaluated annually in January to identify Diplomates that have achieved and/or maintained Fellowship status. Diplomates meeting the qualifications will automatically earn Fellowship status and a certificate will be mailed to each Fellow.
