Have you given a Health Care Quality or Patient Safety presentation at a medical education conference or written a course for continuing education credits? ABQAURP is looking for subject matter experts to develop a live, one-hour session for ABQAURP's 2023 Annual Conference. Proposals will be peer reviewed and selected by the ABQAURP CME Committee.

Please provide a short biography and session abstract with three measurable learning objectives* related to our HCQM educational content in areas such as:

• Health Care Quality and Management
• Utilization Management
• Leadership and Patient Experience
• Patient Safety/Risk Management
• Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Care
• Reimbursement and Care Management

Speaker requirements include:

• Proposals will be accepted from U.S.-based Diplomates (high cost of international travel and varying Visa requirements prevent international Diplomate participation)**
• Completion of required forms including Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form and Speaker Agreement
• Provide photo, enduring material CME post-test questions and answers, PowerPoint presentation on ABQAURP-provided template by deadline dates
• Submit an article highlighting key aspects of your session to be used in conference marketing

Speaker reimbursement includes:

• Complimentary registration to ABQAURP’s Annual Health Care Quality & Patient Safety (HCQ&PS) Conference to be held October 19-20, 2023, in Clearwater Beach, Florida
• Travel & Lodging: ABQAURP will reimburse up to two (2) hotel room nights, 30-day advance purchased coach airfare and reasonable travel expenses (parking, tolls, etc.). Driving/Parking: For local faculty driving to event, if using a rental or private vehicle, travel will be reimbursed at the federal mileage rate, not to exceed the cost of comparable coach airfare.
• Host Hotel: Sheraton Sand Key Resort, 1160 Gulf Blvd, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767. ABQAURP will make your room reservation and provide confirmation details.

*Measurable learning objectives begin with active verbs and define a specific behavioral objective that attendees gain by participating. Passive objectives, such as “learn” or “understand” are not measurable and not acceptable for CME activities. For example: “Learn about patient safety risk factors” is better presented as “Describe patient safety risk factors”.
